Godot 4's window class is cross platform, or else the editor itself would be windows only (unlike other engines the classes that make up the Godot editor are also given to the user)
Just tried this game out and I love it a lot, only problem is during a particularly long run, I got a weird stutter, so I looked at task manager and saw that the game was using 96% of my computer's memory. I'll try the openGL version and see if that does any better
EDIT: yeah seems to just be with vulkan, game runs great otherwise!

can't actually play windowkill v2.0.3 (windows 11) because game crashes when my bullet hits anything, but the ludum dare version works fine, a very cool game regardless
should also add that im running windows 11 on my mac (sonoma) via parallels
Is there a way to edit the controls in a file somewhere? I would really like to try this, but my keyboard layout is way different and my hands are too small to use arrow keys and then also use shift, enter and tab while controlling the mouse.
KDE Neon with Plasma 6 is the best Windows. lol I know, linux is "too hard" for people. Literally even though android, chromeos, the nintendo switch and the steamdeck are linux.
Bugged the game after I died around 20 or so mins but the "you died end" window didn't pop up and the enemies kept spawning and attacking me. Also kept gaining the currency.
Great game though, just wanted to report something I've discovered. Could this be due to the version of the game? I downloaded the new version, not the old ludum dare version.
im not sure but maybe it has something to do with the OS im on? this screenshot is from linux but on windows 10 it also has the same issue. maybe i could try going to windows 11

This game is way too fun, spent a bit of time on it and in the first few hours of playing achieved this:

you should add multi - screen compatability and steam deck mabye (like its all one window, but it looks like its multiple)
v2 supports multiple screens, and v3 has native linux (read: runs on steamdeck) support
can you make a version that is compatible with chrome os all I have is a shitty Chromebook

If you really want to play windows games on a chromebook most chromebooks can run windows 10. just google 'how to install windows 10 on a chromebook.'

Well, I had assumed so, since Wine does, but it looks like you'd have to do something else - apple stopped shipping several dylibs that proton needs.

very fun game and a very cool concept, and as of know I have not killed the first boss but I hopefully will. all in all the game is 9/10

Super good game, so innovative and very interesting. Already it's a classic for me.
Sadly I had to quit after 1:05:00 because the FPS was too low to play, but still a good game.

when i broke the window for some reason everything was black, no more windows at all, the transparency isn't working
